A raw concrete space was turned into a dog daycare, boarding, and grooming center. Materials and finishes were chosen for their ability to take abuse and liquids from the dogs. In the lobby retail area, a reception desk was built featuring shelving in the shape of a bone for retail products. An open wood beam ceiling conceals the lighting and the HVAC system, but adds warmth and residential character to the space to make the customers, human and canine, feel at home.
